Nottinghamshire Police has recently invested in its Information Services team, its people and the structure.
We provide technologies and IT services that directly impact operational policing. From the equipment that frontline officers require to be able to make decisions on the street, big data and analytics, 999/101 Control Room services, technologies that support digital investigations and everything in between! Information Services is at the heart of it all!
If you are looking for the chance to work on something that will test your skills and teach you some new ones, then this is the role for you.
What we're looking for:
You will be analysing, manipulating and interpreting data within complex data structures as well as preparing insightful outputs for both internal and external use. To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced Power BI developer and strong communicator, happy to work stakeholders across the business to help create accurate and robust reporting and improve decision making.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the data team.

This will need to be submitted on the Line Manager Awareness Document (Support form) which is published on the intranet. Any applications submitted without the support document will not be progressed through the process. Completion of the Line Manager Awareness Document does not mean that release from your current role is supported. Should you be successful, a release date will be negotiated between the two departments.
